Skyscraper
Another action movie from the non stopping “The Rock” aka Dwayne Johnson!
Thought it would be a bit worse. Well, it has crazy stunting scenes and a rather good script!
If you are into this, go watch it!
Oh, and it has the Scream actress we all know very well, Neve Campbell in a pretty good return to the leads!
The Midnight Sky
George Clooney acting and directing a movie for Netflix! It had a curiosity larger than normal…
OK, I’ve read some new about how bad this movie is and so when I went to watch it, my expectations were a bit lower than the time I’ve seen the trailer…
And so, what I truly think it’s this film it’s worth watching, the story can catch and there are some intense scenes in it… And I truly loved Caoillin Springall acting…
So, like I always say, you have to watch it so you can make your own opinion, good or bad… Either way, give it a try!
Freedom Fighters: The Ray
For me this was a complete new adventure, watching the “Freedom Fighters”!
I really love animated super hero movies, but didn’t knew anything about this new group!
And, it was the first time an open gay super hero made the screens in an animated movie!
If you like super hero animated films, this one might bring you an hour or so of good screenplay and super powers!
Go “The Ray”!
The Predator
An evolution of the predator, hunting another one of its kind… OK, we’ve saw a bit of this on the previous one, and it kind of remind AvPR…
It could take the previous great movie and take it to higher grounds, but instead it closed itself into a scifi horror movie that, by chance, has predators…
This franchise deserves a better closure, let’s hope for that!
Predators
Well, I have t say, this one was a true surprise!!!
I haven’t seen it when it came out and never read anything about it, so my idea was like “another Predator franchise movie, that might not bring nothing more than just the Predator itself”…
And this movie it’s just not it… Besides it has a lot more predators, and from different species too (WTF), the story, the cast, the special effects really put the franchise back on the line!
Adrien Brody, Lawrence Fishburne… To name a few… Oooh, what a cast!
Go watch it, if you are into Predator and if you’re not, might be a good choice too!
AVPR: Aliens vs Predator – Requiem
What to say about this 2nd AvP movie (AVP2: Alien vs Predator 2)?!…
I know the 1st one usually it is better than the 2nd but, in this case, I liked a lot this 2nd movie…
1st of all, it’s the sequel of the 1st (missed Dr. Alexa Woods)!
2nd, it’s almost like an ode to the 2nd movies of both franchise, meaning Alien and Predator… And what a scary Alien mixed with Predator DNA spawned!
Still, I want to understand how this AvP movies got to happen on the Alien franchise… Read about it awhile, but still doesn’t make that much of a sense! I’ll wait for something more than just the ideas of fans (even though some are fantastic)!
If you like Alien and Predator and watched the 1st AvP, go re-wath this one!
AVP: Alien vs. Predator
Re-watched this one, but still fells a bit weird, the connection between this two franchises, Predators and Aliens!!!
On the Predator, it might be correct, but, especially after Prometheus, this one it’s completely off the chart!
Even so, if you like both universes, you must watch or re-watch this one!
And, if someone out there can explain to me the story-line behind this, I’ll appreciate it!!!
Predator 2
This 2nd movie it’s great…
A bit different from the previous one, and make the connection between both… And so, it brings more predators and gives us a glimpse of their weird race!
Re-watch it, if you dare!!!
