Tina

What a story, what a life, what an icon, what a musician, what a WOMAN!

Tina it’s a documentary with a mandatory visualization!

The life of Tina Turner it is a story which shows us that nightmarish relationship can not and will not define us, and most of all, dreams can come true!

I will not alongue this post any further because all need to watch this!

It’s the strength of a woman!

Thank you Tina, from the bottom of my heart, for sharing your story with us all!

Bem-haja!

Hotel Artemis

A 2018 pearl lost in the midst of Hollywood blockbusters movies…

The cast it’s pitch perfect… Seeing Jodie Foster on screen it’s always overwhelming.

And the story really lives on by itself!

If you have a catch for alternative movies with a sci-fi touch, this one it’s the right one!

“I thought this place was a myth!” – Morgan

Yesterday

An ode to The Beatles!

This movie it’s a roller-coaster of songs and funny situations with a great twist towards the end!

If you enjoy the over the top Beatles songs, if you enjoy almost 2h of a pleasant movie, go watch it!

Yesterday
All my troubles seemed so far away
Now it looks as though they’re here to stay
Oh, I believe in yesterday

Mucize

What a beautiful, funny and heart-whelm movie this one is!

It’s the second time a Turkish movie touched me in a way this one did! Turkish movies are ready to overtake the World with its purity and amazing performances!

It’s a story about a teacher, and also an ode to teachers, who got to go to a village in the middle of nowhere and the miracle brought by all!

A must-watch, funny, real and brings a sense of warmth, of happiness, of humanity that enriches our hearts!

Miracle!!!

Green Book

#WOW

This movie it’s almost pitch perfect… It is based on real events and that only makes the film get more grandeur!

Viggo Mortensen and Mahershala Ali performances it’s what brings this story to life!

The power one has to try and change society a bit makes us wonder that we all have a part to make things work different or better…

And the friendship between this two so different men it’s overwhelming!

Thank you!

Yedinci Kogustaki Mucize

OK, I’ve finally seen this unique Turkish film!

When it came out, there was a hype and everybody was talking about it, saying how good it was, how they’ve cried and how they got heartfelt by it… And so I said to myself, “maybe your expectations are too high, so it’s better to wait”… And that’s what I did…

And so, like so many things in our life, it was a bit forgotten…

But yesterday I’ve had time, and I was searching for a movie to watch, on a Friday night, in confinement… And surprise, surprise, the film found me, because it resonated in my head and I went to search for it!

Truth be told, it’s all people were saying and much more… The actors were splendid, pitch perfect performance for Aras Bulut Iynemli, Celile Toyon Uysal and most of the cast…

And the story is overwhelming, heartfelt, intense, raw, sad, happy… So many adjectives and not as many as I can remember… You really, really, really have to watch it!

The landscapes are amazing, the soundtrack is so cute… Sigh!

Words are not enough, viewing it and feeling it, it’s the best way to truly understand this moving story!

Teşekkürler

Monster Hunter

Every time Milla Jovovich appears on a new movie trailer, I get into it ASAP…

She’s the real Hollywood badass of action movies, ever since the “Resident Evil” franchise began!

And with this new game-based movie instalment it’s pure action, pure adrenaline, funny, and she kicks some serious monster ass!

This is the kind of cinema I crave for on a Sunday evening, pure rush, pure adventure, amazing graphics and fantastic SCIFI fun! Ooooooh, and the monsters are really serious, one of a kind monsters, specially Nerscylla (aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa)…

If you like adventure, if you dare to confront some one of a kind monsters, go for it!

“Let’s do this” – Lt. Artemis

The Craft: Legacy

If you were one of those persons, back in 1996, who got bewitched by the four ladies of the original cult movie, you will definitely watch this new legacy film!

You will probably think it’s more of the same, three teenager witches, searching for the fourth element, in this case “water”, but as the movie gets more and more into its story, you’ll find out a lot of differences, especially on the way they think about magic and Manon!

So, if you are into witchcraft, and got into “The Craft” in the way that it became a cult movie, this one it is for you… If you haven’t watched the original, you’ll also get into it, but I recommend going find that piece of the 90s occult!

Uncle Frank

What a truly amazingly simple but overwhelming beautiful story turned into a beautiful film!

Paul Bettany it’s brilliant as Frank, the uncle of this story, with its over the top niece (Sophia Lillis) and the always happy with life boyfriend (Peter Macdissi), brings all performances to a higher level… We mingle with the story as if we’re living it too!

It’s films like this one that still makes us believe that cinema it’s still truly art!

Go watch it!
