Once upon a time, there was this boy who wanted to be part of the World, sharing ideas, thoughts, and all that goes with a thing called life!
This new volume from the Mortal Kombat Legends brings us, once more, to the brutality of this universe, in all its gore glory! And, if you’re a fan, you’ll rejoice with its X-Ray, fatalities, blood and so on!
The story grabs us from the very beginning and still brings something new to this franchise.
So go on, FIGHT!
Well, I was a 90’s teenager, so I was with the Mortal Kombat franchise almost from the beginning! From the arcade machines to Sega Master System, especially this last one, I played every single game which came out… Somewhere over the top, others felt a bite disillusioned…
And when it became larger, with films, series and so on, I always tried to be up to date!
And so I was thrilled to know that a new movie was being made and once I’ve read that this one would bring the gore, the rawness of the games, I was very, very curious to see how it would be.
Today I finally saw this new Mortal Kombat movie and I have to say it matched a lot of great stuff from the amazing mythology of this saga.
So, if you’re a MK fan, this movie it is a must-watch, if you haven’t seen it yet.

Oh well, it’s hard for me not say anything good, just because I’m a Mortal Kombat fan since 1992/1993, with the first game from this amazing franchise!
For me, it’s not just fighting another opponent, off course it’s awesome! But I really enjoy the story behind it, the cosmogenesis of all realms, the mark of each character, its origins, its nuances, the need for revenge (in this particular case of Scorpion)… It’s a vast universe that needs to get itself into more movies, series and so!
If you’re a fan, you’ll love this new movie, although the story becomes a bit different, even though its origins are the same!
